My Rates

Here you find a short summary of the standard rates that I apply. Because no assignment is the same, I prefer to use rates per word and audio minute rather than hourly. That way we both know exactly what to expect financially, even before I start working on your assignment. I am able to give you an accurate offer for the work you want me to carry out.

My rates are slightly flexible. For example, they are lower for a straightforward translation than for translating a specialist document. The rate per word will also go up if the work requires me to do extensive research beforehand. That is to cover for the additional time spent on preparations. My rates for transcriptions will also go up if you want me to translate at the same time.

Additional charges

There are a few situations in which I will apply additional charges.

• Urgency fee for all services: additional 30%
• Transcriptions: additional €0.50 per audio minute for unclear audio
• Transcriptions: additional €0.25 per additional speaker when more than two
